Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim says he wants Kobbie Mainoo to stay at the club but has given no guarantees that will happen.

The 19-year-old England midfielder was link with a move to Chelsea earlier this week amid ongoing debate over a proposed contract extension.

United chiefs say they are focus on securing the futures of Harry Maguire and Amad Diallo, who will be free to speak to foreign clubs from January 1.

“Our idea is to always keep the best players and the players we have built for this club,” Amorim said.
