Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola said at his FA Cup third-round press conference ahead of their clash with Salford City on January 11 that he would not rush to use injured players such as Ruben Dias or Oscar Bobb.
City had initially expected the League Two game to be a crunch clash for a number of players, including Dias, who has been improving from a hamstring problem, and Bobb, who suffered a tibia fracture earlier in the season.
However, Guardiola said it was too early to risk โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที using both players and wanted to take it slow.
Speaking ahead of his team’s clash with Salford City, Guardiola was asked about Bobb’s return to training. Guardiola explained: “He is training with the team partially. That’s good news for us. It was a fractured bone. Now that is healed, he’s fine but good news is he’s back.”
“It’s not time yet, he feels better, he’s just not ready yet, I don’t know when,” Guardiola said about Dias.
“Bobb has been training with the team for some time now, which is good news for us because he suffered a fractured tibia.”
“He’s recovered now. He’s okay. It’s good news that he’s back.”
“Ederson is fine, but John Stones, no.”
The good news for Manchester City is that Oscar Bobb and Ruben Dias are back training. But this weekend’s match has come too soon for the pair to return to the pitch. Ederson’s return to fitness is good news although the situation surrounding John Stones continues to be a concern going forward for Manchester City.
