Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is set to stay at the club for a long time. After winning the Coach of the Year award at the Serie A Gran Gala.

Inzaghi led Inter Milan to Serie A title last season. And was named Coach of the Year at the “Gran Galà del Calcio” awards, voted by members of the Italian Footballers’ Association. Similar to the PFA awards in England UFABET 

After receiving the award, Inzaghi said: “Of course I am very happy with this award, especially with Luciano (Spalletti).” 

Inzaghi also spoke about working at Inter. saying: “I feel very appreciated at Inter, just as I did at Lazio. The club of my life for 20 years as a player and a coach.”

“We as coaches know that we will be judged every day and every decision we make. But I am very happy at Inter and I hope to stay here for a long time,” the 48-year-old said.

For Inzaghi, who took charge of Inter in 2021. He has led the team to one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles. Three Supercoppa Italiana titles and one UEFA Champions League final appearance.

As expected after dominating the Scudetto race last term, Inter also featured heavily in the nominees and winners this evening.
