Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has revealed he understands the game better. After spending two months watching from the stands during injury time.
Odegaard suffered an injury while playing for Norway in September and missed 12 games for Arsenal. Before returning as a substitute in the Champions League game at Inter Milan on November 6. UFABET
The Gunners captain looked back on the injury. Saying: “Of course I didn’t want to get injured. But when it happened, I had to use the time to my advantage. I saw the team from a different perspective and I learned a lot.”
“It’s very different from watching from the stands. It helps me to understand the game in a different way. I look at everything on the pitch to see everything. I see the movements of the players. Especially what they do before receiving the ball. It helps me to analyse the play a lot more.”
“Watching the game from the stands gives me a better view of the space. And I like to see how the opposition presses us and where there is space. That’s the main thing I’ve learned.”
“Also, I’ve been spending more time in the gym, and that’s what I’ve been doing. I feel great now. I’m stronger and more powerful.”
Arsenal have improved since Odegaard returned to the pitch. Winning their last three games in all competitions and scoring 13 goals in total. Ahead of their next big match at home to Manchester United on Wednesday.
